CTLC contracts with school districts to provide in-school programs, tailored to fit each district’s needs.  These programs can last anywhere from one day workshops to ongoing, weekly series, and address such issues as:

• Bullying
• Peer Pressure
• Drugs and Alcohol
• Violence Prevention/Conflict Resolution
• Social Skills
• Cultural Diversity

These programs are drama based, and are interactive and well structured.  All workshops are facilitated by two therapists, and are specifically designed to reach all levels of students.  CTLC offers elementary, middle school, and high school programs. 

CTLC also runs trainings for teachers and therapists.  These trainings may include such topics as:

• Handling Conflicts in the Classroom
• Cross-Cultural Teaching
• Creativity for Educators
• Spotting Emotional Difficulties in Children
• Energizing your Curriculum: Using Drama in the Classroom to meet NY State Learning Standards

CTLC offers an affordable fee structure, and districts may be eligible to receive matching grant funds to bring the programs into the school.  CTLC will partner with any school who may be interested in receiving matched funds, and will submit the grant paperwork for that school.
